You also have to present your contact information such as your mobile or telephone number, address, email address, and of course, your name. This should be clearly indicated because when you don’t have these, there will be no way for your employer to get in touch with you.

Resume Objectives
Next significant section is your resume objective. Your objective must be a statement that states about the potential things that you can do for the company. To fortify this, the majority details of your resume should support the the job objective the you have stipulated. This details will help the employer in identifying which position in the organization you are suited and likewise, it would depict that you are possessing a definite goal. The goals that you must write should not be too distinct nor to complex.

Educational Attainment
This resume section will be the most essential when you are a graduate or you are trying to change your career. In this phase, you must indicate the date of your attendance, the degree that you achieved and the name of your school.

This education part should not be limited to merely formal education. Trainings and other informal or formal training, job-trainings, apprenticeships and workshops or seminar can also be mentioned. However, you have to include those that are only related to the job that you want.

Work Experiences
Employment highlights are also equally important to any other sections of your resume. In order to start filling out this area, you have to remember and list the dates and the job or the employment that you had. These could include your volunteer or part time positions. After listing each of the job, you can also give the accomplishments, responsibilities, and the duties of your previous jobs. Highlight your abilities and skills, especially the skills that could be applied to variety of jobs, instead of a distinct job. Some examples of skills that are transferable are solving, managing, communicating, and editing skills. Make sure that you list them using verbs. It would be better if you will be able to add number on your accomplishment in order that the employer could see what you can really do. Like for instance, a teacher resume can say ”provided modules for the students”.

When you are worried about age discrimination, you can cut your resume for at least 5 years. However, when you have relevant experiences far from the time frame, you can also include them to your prior related experiences without putting the dates.

Additionally, you can also add a section for your other awards, memberships in professional organization, hobbies, special abilities (i.e., computer and language literacy), and certifications or licenses.

Lastly, references may also be indicated in a separate resume section. Their names and contact details should also be stated and that they are available upon request.
